Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Pork Butt 
  • 4 cups Water
  • ½ cup Soy Sauce 
  • ½  cup Mirin
  • 1 clove Garlic sliced 
  • 1 thumb Ginger sliced 

Instructions

  • In a slow cooker, pour water, soy sauce and mirin. Add garlic and ginger. Mix well. 
  • Submerge the pork. Cover and cook on low heat for 8-9 hours.  
  • Store the chashu pork, as it is in the broth, in the fridge until you use it. It can be stored for about a week.
