Q:

Are all noodles of your udon products the same?

A:

No, our Jumbo Udon Series noodles, Bowl Udon Series noodles, Flavor Udon Series noodles are different from each other.
Jumbo Udon noodles are similar in texture to Flavor Udon noodles, while Bowl Udon noodles are bouncier and chewier.

A:

No, our Premium Yakisoba Series noodles are different from those of our Signature Yakisoba Series as they’re bouncier, chewier, and thicker.

A:

Yes, our udon noodles are shelf stable.

A:

Yes! Our Noodles Only Series (coming soon), Signature Yakisoba Noodles Only, and Jumbo Udon Noodles Only don’t contain soup or sauce.

A:

Although we suggest you follow the boiling time stated, feel free to adjust the boiling time depending on your preference of how firm you want the noodles to be!

A:

Yes! All our yakisoba products and our Premium Vegetarian Shoyu Ramen are vegetarian. Our Kale/Beets noodles (coming soon) are vegan.

A:

After thawing, product must be kept in refrigerated conditions(4°C/40°F) and consumed within 3 weeks.

A:

All retail ramen, yakisoba, and gyoza/wonton wrapper products have a shelf life of 1 year when kept frozen. All udon products do not need to be frozen or refrigerated, this product is shelf stable and has a shelf life of 11 months.

Q:

Are the noodles individually packaged or does it all come in one bag?

A:

Our ramen noodles are either individually packaged or 5 portions are packed in one bag. Our yakisoba noodles are all individually packaged.

A:

After thawing, noodles must be kept in refrigerated conditions (4ᵒC/40ᵒF) and consumed within 3 weeks.

A:

All our noodles don’t get soggy easily, but out of all, we adjusted the ingredient ratios/flour type/water levels the most for Hiramen #8 (44196), Hiramen #14 (28873), #16 Specialty Wavy (04435), Tonkotsu #24 Straight (49578) will last the longest.

Q:

Do you sell the Vegetarian Shoyu Soup Base in bottles?

A:

No, we only sell them in packets (1 box = 340 packets).

A:

After opening, soup bases must be kept in refrigerated conditions (4ᵒC/40ᵒF) and consumed within 1 month.

A:

We include seafood in Shoyu Tonkotsu Soup Base (Item #16339), but the others do not.

A:

Soup base bottles are either 1.89 liters (64 fl oz) or 2 liters (70.55 fl oz). One bottle is equivalent to approximately 60 servings.

Yes, we include MSG in all of our soup bases.

Yes, soup bases must be kept refrigerated (4ᵒC/40ᵒF) after being opened.

Unopened soup base bottles can be kept at room temperature for up to 9 months after production.

Written in Julian date code, read from left to right, it represents the last digit of the year and the day of the year (ex: the code for a product made on 01/01/2021 would be 1001).

Both have chicken broth and chicken extract as bases. Premium Shoyu Soup Base (Item #42095) has a soft, vegetable umami flavor, while Shoyu Soup Base (Item #62906) has a refreshing classic Tokyo shoyu flavor.

Yes! Our Vegetarian Shoyu Soup Base Packet (1 box = 340 packets) is vegetarian. 
We do not carry any vegan soup bases currently.
