Our Fresh Udon is so fresh, it is worth trying! Enjoy the firm and smooth texture of our Fresh Udon noodles by simply eating it with a homemade tsuyu sauce (noodle sauce)! The word bukkake means to pour, and it is a common word for udon dishes. This recipe can be enjoyed hot or cold, so serve it the way you like it!

Ingredients
Udon
- 1 serving Fresh Udon
Sauce
- 2/3 cup Dashi
- 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1/2 tbsp Mirin
Toppings
- 1 Egg Yolk
- 1 Green Onion finely chopped
- 1 tbsp Tenkasu (Fried Tempura Bits)
- 1/2 tsp Ginger grated
- 1 Key Lime thinly sliced
Instructions
- Pour dashi, soy sauce, and mirin in a pot and let it simmer. The tsuyu sauce is ready.
- Boil plenty of water in a pot and add in the Fresh Udon noodles to cook (Fresh Udon will take 4-5 minutes to cook).
- After cooking the udon noodles, drain well. Place the noodles on a plate or a bowl.
- Pour on egg yolk at the center of the noodles and top with green onions and tenkasu. Place sliced key limes and grated ginger on the side and pour in the tsuyu sauce from Step 1. *To enjoy the noodles cold, chill the tsuyu sauce and rinse the noodles in cold water before draining.*
